Caroline Adams Miller

MY STORY OF HOPE, HEALTH, AND
LONG-TERM RECOVERY FROM BULIMIA

In 1988, Caroline Miller published the first book by a survivor of bulimia called “My Name is Caroline,” (Doubleday), that has sold tens of thousands of copies since its first publication, and that continues to inspire many to seek their own recovery. To mark the 20th anniversary of that book’s ground-breaking publication, Gurze Books will be publishing “I’m Still Caroline,” which will be the first book written by a bulimia survivor with twenty-plus years of recovery.

This book will address the many questions Caroline has been asked since she broke her silence and role-modeled powerful recovery, including how do you deal with other addictions, how do you survive pregnancy after having an eating disorder, what side-effects need to be dealt with in later recovery, how can you raise a daughter who has a healthy self-image, and what are the most important components of putting together a life that is free from long-term addiction issues and full of happiness.

Please visit Caroline's new blog, "Bulimia Survivor" devoted to sharing stories that are hopeful, gritty and that help people learn how they can overcome an eating disorder, too. Caroline hopes to have many different types of role models depicted here so that there is more and more joy, life, hope and help available to all of those who need it and want to fill their minds with that spirit.
